Quite Smashing Indeed

Howdy!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Austin Regional tournament this weekend! We had a great showing and represented Texas A&M well. 

Wednesday night practice from 8-11! The theme for wednesday's practice is Primary Colors Night!

If you paid online, bring your receipt to practice and show to get member shirt. You can also pay by cash or check to an officer on Wednesday at practice as well. Make sure to EMAIL THE CLUB EMAIL if you challenged someone, letting us know who you challenged. If issues arise, we will check the club email to make sure an email was sent. If you have any questions about the challenge ladder, or if your name is not on it, or if you paid dues but says you did not, then email the club email. Also if you are not in the top 8 teams you can still play but need to CHALLENGE a person on team 8.

We have Special Olympics Texas getting ready for the 2012 Fall Classic October 25-27 in the Bryan/College Station area. The Fall Classic hosts statewide competitions in the following sports: Aquatics, Bocce, Golf, Softball, and Triathlon, so we need key volunteers (competition volunteers and officials) for each of those venues.  In addition to the sport key volunteers, we are also looking for key volunteers for the following areas: Support Services (Equipment, Medical, and Information), Souvenirs, and Volunteer Check-in. Of course, you can always throw your hat in the ring as a wildcard, and we will put you where you are needed the most. Please reply and let us know if you would be willing to work. Only your help can show how we do it big in volunteering!

I came to chew bubblegum and smash tennis balls...and I'm all out of bubblegum

Thanks to everyone who came out to the College Station Regional tournament this weekend! We had a great showing and represented Texas A&M well. 

We are gonna do it big at Wednesday night practice from 8-11! The theme for wednesday's practice is High School Hero Night (Wear clothing repping your high school).

Let's Do It Big!

Howdy!

Hope everyone had an awesome first week at the greatest university in the nation! Thanks to everyone who came out to MSC Open House. We had a great showing, a lot of ppl stopped by. Last night we had a stellar turnout of people at the informational. We hoped you enjoyed the new promo video debut. If you happened to miss it last night, I have attached the informational presentation in the email. Wednesday night is FIRST PRACTICE from 8-10!! This shortened time will be only for this week and will resume next Wednesday from 8-11. Make sure you come out get signed up to the greatest club Texas A&M has to offer! Remember our discount rate applies to THIS WEEK ONLY, so make sure you don't miss out! Our intra-club tourney is upon us this coming weekend! This tourney is very important to help our competition officers better place people on the challenge ladder and be on the appropriate team. So make sure to sign up and show off those tennis skills! We need a couple awesome volunteers to work the College Station Regional tournament on Saturday 9/15. It would be from 8am-6pm and you will get free pizza! Just reply and let us know if you would be willing. This is going to be a great year in Texas A&M Tennis Club so lets start it off big!

Tennis Club Open House / Informational

Howdy!

The time has come! Are you ready for another awesome year of tennis club?? This year will be big as always because in tennis club We Do It Big! It will all go down starting with Open House Sunday (9/2) from 1-5pm. Attached in the email is a map of Open House so it will be easy to find us (We are #1059). Come out and check out our booth, learn more about tennis club and maybe meet some new friends. On Monday (9/3) we will have an informational at 10pm in Rudder 301. This will be to answer any questions about tennis club you might have and to get better acquainted with all the great things we have planned this year in club. We will discuss dues (which includes a pretty awesome designed shirt this year), practices, tournaments, and socials so make sure to come out. Finally, our first practice will be Wednesday September 5th from 8-11!! I know most of you are ready to get back on the courts and show off the skills. It is going to be a exciting new year with greatness to follow!   

And remember don't forget to Always Hit The Tweener!
