Howdy!

A big huge AWESOME Thanks & Gig 'Em goes out to all of those who participated in the intraclub tourney this past Sunday! We were really impressed by the talent that came out. Also another congrats goes out to the winners! :D

Speaking of the intraclub tourney the challenge ladder will be posted by this Thursday at the very latest. 

Our first tournament is coming up October 5th and guess what?! It's on our home turf right here in College Station. LADIES we NEED you for this tourney! The more girls thats play the better and the more teams we can enter, so let your sisters cousins classmates random girl in Evans know that we need them to play! (As long as they are a student here at Texas A&M.)

BTHO smu!

Howdy Ags!

We're SO excited for this weekend because it is our Intraclub Tournament!!! This Sunday we will be playing singles starting at 8:30 am and then doubles and mixed doubles will begin around 2 pm. The deadline to sign up is this Friday. If you haven't already signed up to play you can register at https://creator.zoho.com/tamu10s/tennis-club/form-perma/Tournament_Entry/\

 If you are not a member and want to play in the tourney but still need to pay dues, you can do so online by following this link  https://secure.touchnet.com/C21490_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=202

Our first social event will be a ping pong tourney on October 12 at 2 pm in the Rec Center (whoop!) You can find the Facebook event page at  https://www.facebook.com/events/563659063689830/

Also Vicki received an email from the pro at Pebble Creek Country Club about an offer being extended to Texas A&M students! They offer free tennis clinics each month but in order for it to be free, 20 students must sign up to get the fee waived. If you are interested in doing this please let us know.

Maroon out week!

Howdy tennis players!

We had an awesome first week of practices!! So much new talent, it's great! 

Our next practice is this Wednesday from 8-10:30 and since we are all ready to Beat the ever-living ever-loving Fightin' Texas Aggie TAMU Tennis Club Hell Outta 'bama this weekend (Whoop!!) we are dedicating our theme to MAROON OUT!! Wear all maroon; we're talking shirts, socks, hats, underwear EVERYTHING MAROON! 

Also our intraclub tourney is Sunday September 22 after the smu (ssssssssss) game! Sign-up can be found at https://creator.zoho.com/tamu10s/tennis-club/form-perma/Tournament_Entry/ Since there has also been a little bit of confusion about signing-up, each person can play singles but only one type of doubles. For example I have signed up for singles and mixed doubles, therefore I am not able to play in the girls doubles bracket. Great First Practice!

That was an awesome first practice that we had last night! We were so excited to meet all of our new members and see our veterans! Just a reminder that the second practice is tonight at 8 pm at the intramural courts again.
