Practice stopping at 815 today to go to Spoons frozen yogurt

Practice today will start at 7 and stop at 815 to head over to Spoons frozen yogurt (1509 S Texas Ave, College Station, Tx 77840) as a group for our first profit share of the year. Profit shares provide the club with another source of funding, mention you're supporting Texas A&M Tennis Club, and Spoon's will give the club a percentage of the profit.

Howdy tennis club!

Teams for this Saturday's college station tournament have been attached, team captains highlighted in yellow. Captains please contact all team members and make sure everybody knows where and when to show up Saturday morning. Weather is looking awesome for the tournament, no rain this time.

Practice this week is at intramural courts from 6-8pm tomorrow, but on thursday we will be stopping at 815 to head over to Spoons frozen yogurt (1509 S Texas Ave, College Station, Tx 77840) as a group for our first profit share of the year. Profit shares provide the club with another source of funding, mention you're supporting Texas A&M Tennis Club, and Spoon's will give the club a percentage of the profit. If you can't make it Thursday night when we go as a group, you are encouraged to go (invite lots of friends) anytime during the day on Thursday.

Sign-Up for CS Tournament Today!

Howdy

Deadline to sign-up for next saturday's college station TOC tournament is today at 6pm. The event is on the facebook page, just click that you are going and you are signed up. 

Congratulations Teams 2, 4, and 6 for winning there respective draws yesterday in Arlington! We had at least one team in the finals of every draw. The rain couldn't stop us this time around.

College station tournament

Good afternoon,

Next Saturday we are hosting a tennis on campus tournament here in college station (October 1). Sign up for the tournament is now open on the Texas A&M Tennis Club facebook page. Simply click that you are going and that will sign you up. Sign up deadline is this Sunday at 6 pm. If you plan on going, please don't wait until Sunday to sign up and risk the chance of forgetting. 

Arlington tournament is this Saturday. To all captains, if you have not contacted all of you're team members please do so soon an make sure rides to Arlington have been coordinated.  

Practice is at intramural courts later today from 6-8 and tomorrow from 7-9. 

Next Thursday night we will be having a profit share at Spoons. Right now the plan is to stop next thurs practice at 815 and then go as a group for dinner. More info on that will come a little later.

Arlington Tournament Sept.24th

Howdy Everyone,

Make sure you sign up for the Arlington Tournament by 6pm today! It's on our FB page, Cameron Byrd posted it an event, all you have to do if you want to go is click going to the event and we'll consider that as going. Maybes won't be included as going. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Also, great job to everyone who played yesterday, it was very hot outside but ya'll played some great tennis! Have a good weekend!

**RANKING TOURNAMENT DRAWS**
Due to the amount of last minute drop outs we had to re-arrange a couple of things. Please look at your draw and make sure you are where you need to be. If you are not a member, please bring $10 for the entry fee IN CASH before you go on court.
CheckIn Times are as followed:
Boys A Singles:7:30 AM and play will begin promptly at 8:00am
(Byes 1st round check in 8:45am)
Boys B Singles and Girls A Singles: 8:20am
(Byes 1st round check in 9am)
Girls B Singles: 8:50am
(Byes 1st round check in 9:30am)
Girls doubles: Byes 1st round check in 11:30am
(bye 2nd round check in 12:10pm)
Mixed doubles: 12:45pm

Draws for Intraclub Tourney

Howdy!

Draws for the intraclub tournament have been posted on the facebook page. I've also attached them to this email. 

If you signed up to play and you're not a member, please bring $10 for the entry fee in cash at check in.

Check in for Boys A Singles is at 7:30 AM 

Followed by Boys B Singles and Girls A Singles checking in at 8:20, and Girls B Singles at 8:50.

Regular doubles will check in around 11:30

Mixed doubles check in around 12:45.

The semis and finals of all singles will be played Sunday morning in the interest of time, and doubles may as well if time is an issue.

Intraclub Tournament this Week

Howdy!

Good playing in Houston this week. Unfortunately the rain came before we could win all those shirts.

Today at 5pm is the deadline to sign up for the intraclub tournament. The tournament is all day this saturday and is important for establishing ranking positions on the ladder. You can sign up through the posted link on the Texas A&M Tennis Club facebook page. That link has been posted for about 4 days, if you don't have a facebook I strongly recommend you get one just for club because it is our main form of communication. For those who don't, the sign-up link is below.

Remember deadline is 5 pm today.

Players are allowed to register for singles and/or one doubles event, either regular or mixed doubles. There will also be an A draw and a B draw for each event. If you think you are a 4.0 or over NTRP I'd recommend sign up for A draw. If 4.0 or lower I'd recommend signing up for B draw.

Practice is Wednesday (6-8) and Thursday (7-9) at the intramural courts. There will definitely be people still hitting afterwards until 10 pm when the courts close.

Welcome!!!!

Howdy Texas A&M Tennis Club!!!!!

...and welcome all current and new members!

The greatest tennis club in the nation  is getting off to a quick start this semester. For new members, we will be having two informationals Wednesday at 530pm and Thursday at 6pm, both at Rudder Tower Room 302 where we will introduce and explain to you what we are as a club. By no means are they mandatory, but it is a great opportunity to get your questions answered. Immediately following each informational we will have our first two practices of the year at the intramural courts!! Wednesday will be from 630-10 and Thursday 7-10. 

At practice there will be computers set up to update membership rosters and pay membership dues. 

Dues are:

Early Signup (Sept. 7th & 8th): $65

On time Signup (Sept. 9th - Sept 17th): $75

Late Signup (After Sept 17th): $80

This covers your membership, club t-shirt, and tournaments. You can pay with cash, check (write out to Texas A&M Tennis Club), or credit card.

Those who are planning on going to this weekends tennis tournament in Houston must pay their dues by Thursday if they want go. 

Also, next weekend on September 17th we will be having our intramural tournament. If you are a new member and are trying to compete for one of the top teams, this is an important tournament to play in because it will determine where you will be ranked on the ladder to start the year. More information on the intramural tournament will be provided soon. 

I hope everyone has gotten off to a good start to the semester. Tennis club is going to be awesome this year! See everyone at practice. Do It Big!
